Through this series, I endeavoured to depict the reality of mankind, as well as the reality of the nature I have come across in my daily life. Every human being is doomed to bear the company of their own existence until the day they die. And I sense that this presence is getting lighter and lighter as time goes by. This is my feeling, now that I have reached the age of seventy. 

To fight this feeling and carry on with my life, I mean to focus once again on people’s existences. I hereby hope to achieve a pictorial world imbued with a deep and rich spirituality.
